Wonderwall Music by George Harrison

Wonderwall was George Harrison's score for the film of the same name. The film itself has some amazing things to see---including the beautiful Jane Birkin & some super-psychedelic animation. But the real gem was the music itself: swirling, melodic, mystical. It's a perfect fusion of the two pyschedelic scenes that gave it life: George recorded half the tracks in Bombay with Indian musicians and instruments, the other half with Carnaby Street swingers like Ringo and Eric Clapton at Abbey Road.
We at ITBK think one of the hallmarks of a truly great record is that you can listen to it 1000 times and it still sounds fresh on the 1001st; Wonderwall Music passes that test...Perhaps because it's mostly instrumental, it wears extremely well.
LP or CD (way pricey at $39.99 new)
