Syd Barrett we love(d) you 1946-2006
Not much to say about this, precisely because there's TOO much to say: a one-man brain wave connecting the green world of little people to high literature (he put Joyce's "Goldenhair" to music) to be-bop to punk rock. Yes psychedelic, yes LSD, yes big influence on Bowie, yes Wish You Were Here, blah-blah-blah but that's all beside the point. A fucking genius artist, period.
