Rozenn Couturier's "Inside-Out"
Hey our totally beautiful and talented cousin, Rozenn has done an installation at Bubble Lounge and you can come check it out this Thursday @ 7.... Hope to see you with some kinda rad bubbly drink in your hand.
COME AND SEE:
A sidewalk installation by French-born NY-based designer Rozenn
Couturier, which reinterprets an interior space through the graphic
representation of its mosaic flooring beyond its indoor boundaries to
evoke and simulate the inside environment.
By rolling out a mosaic-like "vinyl carpet," this site-specific
installation allows the space to move outside its structural confines
and spill out onto the sidewalk of the Bubble Lounge.
Visitors and passers by are invited to stop by and cross through this
transitory space and to question what delimits a space and what makes
it belong to an interior versus an exterior setting.
